Tsinghua University, China
Professor Chen Ye-Guang is Professor at the School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University, China. He is Cheung Kong Scholar and also the recipient of the National Science Foundation for Outstanding Young Scientists of China. He received his PhD of Cell Biology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and went on to train as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Professor Chen’s research interest lies in the molecular mechanism of cell signaling. His team studies how TGF-β and Wnt signaling are regulated, and aims to understand their roles in embryogenesis, stem cell self-renewal and differentiation, and tumorigenesis.
