Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine
Navin K. Verma completed his PhD and postdoctoral training in Clinical Medicine at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. In 2013, Dr. Verma joined Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Immunology and Cell Biology. His research is focused on molecular processes involved in immune functions, in particular antitumor immune responses of T lymphocytes. He is currently investigating the mechanisms by which the recently discovered “Ionic Checkpoint” is involved in the tumour microenvironment in order to develop new ways to boost immune systems to fight cancer.
