Dr Huang has been awarded the AACR Annual Meeting 2012 Scholar-in-Training Award, which has provided more than 3,300 grants to young investigators and has received support from more than 40 cancer research foundations, corporations, individuals and other organizations dedicated to the fight against cancer. Dr Ruby Huang, a Senior Research Fellow at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore and a scientist-clinician with the National University Hospital, together with her team has identified five new ovarian cancer cellular sub-types. “We could develop a diagnostic kit molecularly, to define ovarian cancer, and by doing so, the next step would have the
