CSI Singapore upholds sound governing principles of flexibility, accountability and risk management that support the mission and purpose of the institute.
Publicly funded by the National Research Foundation and Ministry of Education, the institute ensures an all-encompassing input from experts on the appropriate management, direction and growth of the institute.
Since its founding, CSI Singapore’s strategic direction is strongly guided by the Governing Board. With extensive academic, business and leadership experience, Board members oversee the institute’s affairs, steering its long-term strategic direction and conducting reviews on the effectiveness of existing policies. They also manage the institute’s risk, accountability and overall financial programs.
Scientific Advisory Board
The Scientific Advisory Board comprises of a multidisciplinary team of experts in basic and clinical cancer research. They offer insight on critical and emerging global trends in biomedical research, identify promising channels for the institute to tap into and make recommendations that support its scientific goals.
The responsibilities of the Senior Management include the day-to-day running of the institute and its general operations, finances and resources. They also review the overall research focus, direction and objectives to ensure a consistently high level of quality scientific output.
