On 15 January, CSI hosted a visit from a delegation of five distinguished guests from TATA Memorial Centre, Mumbai. The TATA Memorial Centre is a specialist cancer treatment and research centre, closely associated with the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC). Senior management from the TATA Memorial Centre were at CSI for an exchange of knowledge and ideas, and exploration of new opportunities for development of collaborations between both institutes.
CSI Director Prof Daniel Tenen, CSI Deputy Directors Prof Goh Boon Cher and Prof Chng Wee Joo, and Principal Investigator Dr Anand Jeyasekharan welcomed the delegation to CSI Singapore. This was followed by an afternoon of fruitful discussions and a tour of the premises at CSI Singapore and the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS).
We hope that the visit will inspire closer relations and meaningful collaborations between both institutes!
